Anne of Cleves memorial in Westminster Abbey. Despite looking like a plaque / simple expanse of stone, this is merely the back of her larger tomb monument. The close proximity to the high altar makes the front/sides inaccessible to the public. [image source: Find a Grave]
Hello! I’ve just recently started listening to your podcast and I love it! Turns out I love learning stuff about things when I take my dog out for a walk. I started on Episode 1 and am currently half way through Episode 23, which is an excellent episode that I am enjoying. I didn’t know much about Kehinde Wiley but I put two and two together and I remember seeing his work at the National Portrait Museum a couple of years ago. Anyway, this is a great podcast that allows me to reacquaint myself with some things I learned decades ago when I took my one and only art history class and to also learn from you about works of art I wasn’t familiar with, so thank you. Have a great day.
I’m so glad to hear that you are enjoying the podcast! I am an avid walker, and I know how important good listening content is to that ritual. Please give your dog some love from me! -Lindsay
