  • Documentaries:
    • Tut’s Treasures: Hidden Secrets – A 2018 documentary in conjunction with the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, where all 5,398 items found in King Tut’s tomb are reunited for the first time since their discovery in 1922 [made for National Geographic, streaming on Hulu]
    • King Tut Unwrapped: Life and Death – BBC documentary with all of your usual suspects: dramatic voiceover, Zahi Hawass, historical reenactments…
    • Life and Death in the Valley of the Kings – TV miniseries hosted by Egyptologist Joann Fletcher exploring what life and death was like during the time of Tutankhamun and his ancestors.
  • “Fun” Media:
    • Tutankhamun – A 2016 4-episode miniseries starring Max Irons as Howard Carter and Sam Neill (of Jurassic Park fame) as Lord Carnarvon. Think Downton-Abbey-meets-Egypt. Much drama. Historically inaccurate. Lots of fun.
    • The Mummy – the 1999 cinematic masterpiece and my favorite movie of all time. A jolly good time [streaming on Netflix]
